The Sheikah warrior Kara Moonblade, greatly ashamed of having been unable to assist Katheryn during the great tragedy of seven years before, due to her poor health, had gone to live beyond the boundaries of the Shadow Temple to meditate and to fully recover from her injuries sustained before the fall of the Deku Tree.
Though she constantly worried for young Katheryn's wellbeing and her future, Kara still felt as if she had dis-honored her vow to protect the Royal Family in not being there for Katheryn when the disaster occured. Inside, she felt as if something had died along with the fallen on that day. Katheryn could have been killed, and she had not been there to protect her. It made Kara seem like she were a hollow shell - a thing without life or reason to exist.
In the past seven years, Kara Moonblade had lived a life of utter loneliness - her only comfort being a kindly Keaton who often brought her little gifts of food or interesting news of the rest of the world. But such an existence was beginning to destroy her, both physically and spiritally. So one day, when the Keaton came to call, an unpleasant sight met his eyes. Kara was sitting inside her tent she had called home all these years, just staring in the direction of Kokiri Forest with a look of immense worry and sorrow upon her face - which was quite pale and sickly. Getting no response out of her, the noble Keaton decided to fetch another of his kind to look after the Sheikah as he went to seek help for his dear friend.
Swiftly running on silent paws, the magnificent Keaton glided over the leaf-strewn floor of the Lost Woods in his desperate search to find help for Kara. Taking a brief moment to rest in the shade of a tree, the Keaton perked up - all 3 of his beautiful tails twitching in excited relief as he caught sight of Hallon making his way through the trees. Boldly the nimble creature made his presence known to the man, by stepping forth ahead of him on the path, with his splendid tails fanned out like a peacock's tail.
